#1,729 Walker Lunch + Boo.

Fortunately, I got to see Walker for lunch at mama’s today. I fed him all his peas and carrots. We did some walking around the kitchen. We held hands. I fell even more in love with him.

It took the sting off of sending these quarterly checks out in the mail.

But, the thing is—I have income from which to pay taxes, and there’s a great honor in that, right?

And anyway, my neighborhood is getting ramped up for the holidays and that’s worth celebrating.

Andrea does 5th Avenue-worthy window displays. It makes living and working downtown that much more magical. I really do love this town.

P.S.
High school friends of mine, brothers, lost their mother suddenly and unexpectedly today. We’ve not really seen each other since we graduated, but my heart is broken for them. If you’re a believer, please send up a little prayer for Kevin, Kenneth, and Adam. I can’t imagine what they’re going through but I know what a comfort real, genuine prayer can be. Thanks, friends.
