The tight grain of antique red oak is a real thing of beauty, and while it takes time to laminate the pieces that create an end grain butcher block—it's worth it for the richness of the wood and the beauty it brings to the cook's countertop for food prep. Each piece is cut and placed depending on the beauty of its grain pattern, triple sanded, and finished with the Scotsman Co. brand on the super-thick 2" side.
*For chopping block maintenance, we recommend regular cleanings with baking soda and hot water, and oiling regularly with mineral oil.
