I was home sick with my latest stomach attack, but fortunately Rachel was at the ready in the ER to collect the blood for the test that will tell us if it’s porhpyria. I’m still having a lot of pain but the nausea is gone mostly so I’m very thankful for that. I just wish this could’ve happened on Monday when I was on the hematologist’s table. Oh well. It all happens for reason.
I missed the only good thing that happened today, but fortunately Mallorie was there to film it. Ben spoke at our city’s political forum tonight and I think he did a great job. Way to go, Mitter!

I’m an artist and he’s a craftsman and we help people moving to our town find and restore old houses on HGTV’s Home Town. In an effort to count my blessings, this journal has documented only the good things that happen on each and every day of my life since January 1, 2010. I am a wife, a daughter, a homebody, a bubble bath lover, a book reader, a sentimental, stressed out, slightly obsessive southerner. Welcome!
