Returns & Exchanges

Defective or Damaged Items
If we made a mistake, we’ll take care of it. Period. If you received a defective or damaged product, we will replace it for you. And don’t worry—shipping charges are on us, both for the returned item and the replacement. If an order is receieved damaged more than one time, we will refund you the full amount. To begin the process of your return, please email our Guest Services Team at hello@laurelmercantile.com.

Standard Returns
If it didn’t fit or work for you, we will happily exchange or accept your return for up to 30 days after purchase.

Our return policy covers returns of most products in new or “like-new” condition up to 30 days after purchase. Items that cannot be returned or exchanged include furniture, oversize items (such as rugs and large art), dropship items, food & beverage items, or anything damaged through normal wear and tear.

If you’ve decided you don’t like what you ordered after having it in your home a couple of weeks (up to 30 days), no problem. In order to return your item, please visit our Returns & Exchanges Portal to begin the process. We will send a return label to your email as soon as possible. Once your return is received, you will receive a full refund for your item(s) less the shipping charges.  

Please note that not all products are eligible for returns. Items that cannot be returned include, but are not limited to: food, oversized products,drop ship items & Custom House Portraits. Each item that is not eligible for return, exchange or refund will state this in the product description.

International Orders
All orders shipped internationally are final sale and are not eligible for refund or exchange.


Shipping Polices

Standard Policies Within Continental U.S.
Please allow up to 3 business days to fulfill and pack all orders placed online. Fulfillment of orders is subject to a product's availability. If a product you've ordered is not currently in stock, the out-of-stock product will be refunded to your original form of payment.

Flat rate packages are shipped via Fedex. APO/FPO shipments are subject to carrier size restrictions, so certain oversized items are not eligible for APO/FPO delivery. 

Free Shipping on orders $99 and over: Free shipping applies to FedEx Ground or FedEx Home Delivery within the continental US only, and is not offered for expedited or international shipping options. Qualifying orders must total $99 or more after promo codes have been applied but before tax or shipping fees. This offer does not apply to some specialty, drop shipped or oversized products.

Flat Rate Shipping: Orders are shipped via FedEx Ground or FedEx Home Delivery and apply to packages delivered within the US only. The flat-rate option must be selected at checkout and cannot be applied retroactively.

Furniture purchases are made to order and ship to the contiguous 48 states via contract freight carrier in 8-10 weeks.  Track your orders with Fedex.com or get it held at a location near you. 

International Shipping
Currently, we are only able to ship internationally to select countries. Shipping Charges are calculated based on weight and include Fedex delivery charge only. Purchaser is responsible for paying all duties, taxes, or brokerage fees to those entities directly during checkout.  Please allow up to 3-4 weeks for delivery of stocked items, with disclaimer that unpaid duties, taxes, or other fees may delay delivery.

Express shipping is not available, and packages lost during the shipping process are the responsibility of the purchaser, not Laurel Mercantile Co. Select items, such as furniture and food and beverage items, are not eligible to be shipped internationally at this time. Free Shipping & Flat Rate Shipping promotions are not applicable to international shipments.
