#1,419 Home Alone.
While Ben was gone on a paintball trip with the youth, I spent the day being perfectly alone. I had originally planned to go along with them, but when the alarm went off at 8, I started thinking of all the things I could get done if I just had a day to do it all.
So I slept late. I ate breakfast. I walked the dogs and it was so beautiful out. The most perfect fall day.
Later, Adam and I took books to all the stores that will be selling I Live in Laurel starting on Monday after the big debut at the holiday open house in downtown tomorrow afternoon. After we did that, we took a book to Anne and let her read her very own children’s book for the first time ever.
She told us, “I really like it.”
Tomorrow is the big day. I hope people will love like we have loved making it.
