#1,434 Day 1: New Orleans.
by Erin Napier
This afternoon we said goodbye to Laurel for a few days:
And went down to New Orleans for the night so we can board the flight to New York in the morning. We found this fantastic cottage on airbnb and couldn’t be happier. It’s half the cost of a hotel room ($150), 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, clean as a whistle with comfy beds.
Beth and Kory have never been to New Orleans so we hit the big stuff with them with the few hours we had. The French Quarter, Cafe Maspero, Brad Pitt’s house, Cafe Du Monde, back home for The Walking Dead.
Please, friends. Really. Say a prayer for safe travels tomorrow. I am so SO terrified of flying. See you tomorrow in the Big Apple!

I am a wife, a daughter, a homebody, a bubble bath lover, a book reader, a sentimental, stressed out, slightly obsessive southerner. Welcome!
