#1,446 Oh Christmas Tree.
We woke up and decided today would be as good as any to go and pick out our Christmas tree. We loaded up in the Wagoneer after breakfast at Huddle House and set out for Smith’s Christmas Tree Farm to pick out the perfect ones:
We picked a 9 foot Carolina Sapphire, and Jim and Mal got a fraiser fir but since it’s being flocked they can’t take it home until tomorrow. But not before Mallorie carefully micromanged the flocker’s job by getting real specific with him about just how much flocking and from what direction she wanted it flocked.
Looks like we’ve got a family tradition. And Lucy didn’t exist at all yet this time last year. It’s so hard to imagine that!
And after all the years of coming here, Ben finally managed to sweet talk the owner into giving him a hat. Merry Christmas, Uncle Big.
