For the first time in my adult life, I am the owner of a super extra major fluffy down duvet comforter insert thing. What with the polar vortex and all, it felt like it was time to step it up from the ‘minimal warmth’ insert that we’ve been sleeping under for a couple years that was more like a glorified quilt. I always thought our thick, linen duvet cover would make anything warm enough, and while the other one’s great in the Mississippi summer, this did the trick on our record-breaking cold night.
I woke up feeling like I was in a hotel. You know how they have those super poofy down comforters now? A hotel with marshmallow cloud feather beds. Like sleeping in Baker fur.
What I’m saying is. You ought to get one.
Thank you for your encouragement after yesterday’s post. You all mean a whole lot more to me than you might realize.
