#1,511 Souper Sunday.

Another Super Bowl has come and gone and all I cared about (again) was the soup. At church. For the annual youth fundraiser.

I don’t know if I’ve made myself clear enough on the subject… But I love soup. It’s actually my favorite meal, I think. Doesn’t really matter what kind, just any kind will do. So 20 feet of every kind you can think of cooked by Southern Methodist women?

I overdid it.

Byron was in charge of voting. Our church overwhelmingly pulled for the Broncos (Peyton and whatnot) but for the first time in a few years, the majority was wrong. Better luck next year.

Super proud of the youth group. They raised $1,400 in donations today for their spring retreat by pouring drinks and serving donated food.  If your church hasn’t tried a fundraiser like this before—you should try it. Everyone loves a reason to pot luck.
