#1,807 Post-Thanksgiving/Pre-Christmas/Day Off.
by Erin Napier
Well, it was kind of a day off. We slept late, went in to work for a few hours to ship some orders, took a walk, read on the porch. It was a perfectly easy Friday that we rarely get to relish.
We pulled out all the Christmas boxes and started the work of decking the halls. Once Jim and Mal could leave work, we loaded up and headed to the Christmas tree farm to cut down the beauties we tagged last week.
And tonight we finished everything but the ornaments. For now, there’s this.
It feels like warm cookies just to say it, doesn’t it?

I am a wife, a daughter, a homebody, a bubble bath lover, a book reader, a sentimental, stressed out, slightly obsessive southerner. Welcome!
