It’s not just a silly hashtag we started after we finished the book, it’s a kind of fight song. It means those of us who love our oft-forgotten little town are making an impact on the younger generations. The things that make this place special are being passed down instead of passed over.

P.S.
Carrying on the Adidas shoe pic theme, I found the old sneakers mama and I bought at a little second-hand store in the Haight-Ashbury district of San Francisco the week after my high school graduation hiding in the old loft apartment. Hello, new (old) favorite shoes!

P.P.S.
Mammaw is doing so great at her new “home.” Can’t say enough how thankful we all are for that graceful transition!
