#1,994 Family Reunion Day 1.
by Erin Napier
It’s the first weekend of June, which can mean only one thing.
NAPIER FAMILY REUNION!
Our nephew, Preston, reminds me for the world of our nephew, Walker. Am I right?! Such good looking young fellers!
For all you precious people who’ve reached out to me privately about my sweet sister-in-law, Lyn, she’s hanging in there—over 2 years without eating a bite of solid food, and one major surgery (that hasn’t rendered any positive effects yet) back in October for her paralyzed stomach and she keeps smiling and inspiring everyone who knows her, even though she feels so weak and so sick 24 hours a day. If you’re the praying kind and would remember her in your prayers, I know she would appreciate that.
And here’s Preston, after some styling by Uncle Big.

I’m Erin Napier, co-owner of Laurel Mercantile Co. and Scotsman Co. with my husband, Ben. I’m an artist and he’s a craftsman and we help people moving to our town find and restore old houses on HGTV’s Home Town. In an effort to count my blessings, this journal has documented only the good things that happen on each and every day of my life since January 1, 2010. I am a wife, a daughter, a homebody, a bubble bath lover, a book reader, a sentimental, stressed out, slightly obsessive southerner. Welcome!
