#145 Longleaf Trace.
by Erin Napier
For the first time ever, we rode the Longleaf Trace today (for 18 miles!). I know we’re apparently the last 2 people in Jones County to do it, but it was really so much fun (and so much sweaty). About 10 of the youth kids went, and I’m glad to say I made it to the finish before a couple of them (so hopefully that means I’m in pretty good shape?) I was afraid it would be a little rustic, but it wasn’t at all. I didn’t even see one snake. I didn’t even sneeze one sneeze. I did, however, get a little crispy on the shoulders and legs. That’s just fine though — it’ll all tan.
