Because today I realized for the first time I could watch Netflix on my computer to keep me company while I work, I watched Chef, a movie I wouldn’t have used my precious after work free time on. Netflix said I would like it based on the other things I like though so I thought “Why not. I’ll hit play while I work.” And IT WAS SO SO GOOD. Super uplifting. Super timely for us right now, weirdly, and Jon Favreau made such an authentic chef I could easily believe acting is his second job.
Also, it made me want to dance and stuff my face with Cafe La Fleur’s Cuban panini, which they no longer keep on the menu… So I texted Matt, our friend who owns it, and he promises to make them anytime I want one in the future. Woo!
