#2,214 Periscope + Movie Night.
We did our first Periscope today and WOAH MAN IT WAS CRAZY. Well, it could’ve been easier but I insisted on driving a stick shift whilst giving a tour and Ben thought it’d be real easy to run a Scotsman Co. feed simultaneously and operate both phone/cameras while fielding questions, so we’re obviously into seeing how ridiculous we can be on the first try. I’m so glad that so many of you were there! Apparently 217 people tuned in! Technology is so wild!
I was scrambling to get out of the shop by 6:30 so we could hustle over to the mall and meet the crew for dinner and a movie. You know, we’re fancy:
Josh got the refillable large bucket of popcorn with the intent we could all share it, but we were watching the last showing so the theatre employees gave him refill insurance in a trash bag so they could go on home and close up shop for the night. Because that’s how it goes in a small town like ours. They’re just like, “Y’all turn out the lights and lock it up when you leave. Enjoy your movie.” Kidding. I guess someone did that after we left? Right?
We saw The Revenant. Which was…
INTENSE. I’ll have nightmares tonight. But it was really good. Ben loved it because “it’s really just a cowboy movie.”
P.S.
10 days till Home Town on HGTV!
