#2,217 Baptism + Shopping Trip.
by Erin Napier
This morning, our friends Katy and Stevens’ baby girl, Emma Kate, was baptized. And the whole room was in love with her sweet personality, all smiles and coos, and it’s always a special day when a new baby becomes part of the church family. It just feels like springtime in the room.
And all the while, there was stained glass sunshine pouring through the windows, which made me smile.
This afternoon Ben did his first Periscope from Scotsman Co. showing us how he makes a reclaimed heart pine serving tray that we’ll be adding to the website this week. You can check it out on his Periscope account from now till 2 pm, so hop over if you missed it! As soon as he finished, we hopped in the car with Jim and Mal and spent a couple hours in Jackson shopping for just the right outfit for Sunday. After we watch the show with our friends and family, there’s going to be a big Home Town party and you’re all invited! More details on that soon! But what this means is we’ve gotta have a new outfit for the occasion which merited a trip to the sale rack at Anthropologie.
And all I wanna wear is my same ole same ole stuff, but Mallorie tells me I have to get a little crazy sometimes and maybe, possibly, consider wearing black. And maybe heels, too. Fancy, schmancy. Give me my denim!

I am a wife, a daughter, a homebody, a bubble bath lover, a book reader, a sentimental, stressed out, slightly obsessive southerner. Welcome!
