#2,268 Tupelo + Dinner.
We had another meeting this morning in Tupelo, the furniture-making Mecca of Mississippi, where we got to tour a 250,000 square foot warehouse that was packed to the rafters with every kind of old, beautiful reclaimed wood Ben’s heart could desire.
At this meeting, Ben’s dreams for Scotsman Co. became a reality and he was like a little boy in total wonder. It made my heart feel so full to see him there today, the way the wheels have been turning for his business, then he got an email that his interview for American Workshop was posted today… And I felt so proud all over again. I believe God makes us to fulfill the many callings He places on our lives and it’s amazing to watch a person discovering that. I’m so proud to be his wife.
After that, we hustled over to Oxford for a speaking engagement. We had the honor of telling our story to the Public Relations Association of Mississippi. Jesse sat in on our talk since we were across the street from campus.
And after visiting with him for a quick minute we headed to the Square for dinner with Erin and Sean Kirkpatrick. Erin owns everyone’s favorite little shop on the Square, Amelia, and is one of the business lady mentors in my life.
I’m going to bed tonight feeling so very thankful, once again, for those knowledgeable people God keeps placing in our journey to help us every step of the way. What a blessing!
