#2,286 Egg Hunt.
Since it’s going to be a stormy Easter Sunday tomorrow, we had a little family cookout and egg hunt for Walker at my parents’ house tonight. Daddy had his famous ribs in the smoker all day, and before the sun set my brother and Uncle Big hid a few dozen plastic (some with candy, most without, which Walker figured out FAST) and confetti eggs all around the yard.
Have you seen these confetti eggs? They’re real eggshells, dyed and filled with confetti and it’s apparently a thing for kids to smash them on each others’ heads. And it is hysterical and fun.
The traditions surrounding holidays that begin when we are just learning to toddle around remind me what a miracle adoption is. What a miracle Walker is. God blesses us so richly, doesn’t he?
