#2,712 Bathroom Dreaming + Summer Sun.
by Erin Napier
I wasn’t kidding when I told you I decided I’m ready to renovate our master bath. In fact, yesterday our beloved architects from the show, Lake and Land Studio, came over to start making the blueprint. So today, I started making my plan for the 1925 craftsman appropriate finishes: marble tile, 1920s brass sconces, deep green paint, worn wood vanities. I can’t wait to show you as we go along, even though I may soon regret choosing to live in the middle of a renovation.
And it was a beautiful day to spend splashing my feet in Jim and Mal’s pool while Big swam like a kid on summer vacation.

I’m Erin Napier, co-owner of Laurel Mercantile Co. and Scotsman Co. with my husband, Ben. I’m an artist and he’s a craftsman and we help people moving to our town find and restore old houses on HGTV’s Home Town. In an effort to count my blessings, this journal has documented only the good things that happen on each and every day of my life since January 1, 2010. I am a wife, a daughter, a homebody, a bubble bath lover, a book reader, a sentimental, stressed out, slightly obsessive southerner. Welcome!
