#2,525 Early Thanksgiving.
by Erin Napier
We headed north on a super quick trip to see Ben’s family for Thanksgiving since we might not get to see Tom and his bunch on Thanksgiving day. Our trips up here always equate to good, quality rest which I rarely give myself at home and work. It’s very quiet and rural at their house, with just the good things to occupy the day: family and food and a comfy bed at the end of it. And little girls dancing. And toddler pallet parties.

I’m an artist and he’s a craftsman and we help people moving to our town find and restore old houses on HGTV’s Home Town. In an effort to count my blessings, this journal has documented only the good things that happen on each and every day of my life since January 1, 2010. I am a wife, a daughter, a homebody, a bubble bath lover, a book reader, a sentimental, stressed out, slightly obsessive southerner. Welcome!
