#382 Knock off early.
by Erin Napier
When you own a business and you work from home, it’s easy to never stop working. Which eventually leads to feeling pretty tired and worn out. Since Annalee’s been working with me, I’ve been taking twice the number of orders and doing half the hours of work I was doing before. What a blessing that girl is! We worked from 9:30 to 1:30 today, then I was free for the afternoon. Free to go riding in my convertible. Free to cook dinner. Free to enjoy the springish weather we had today. It’s the first time in a long while since we’re in the thick of May and June weddings. What a welcome respite!

I’m an artist and he’s a craftsman and we help people moving to our town find and restore old houses on HGTV’s Home Town. In an effort to count my blessings, this journal has documented only the good things that happen on each and every day of my life since January 1, 2010. I am a wife, a daughter, a homebody, a bubble bath lover, a book reader, a sentimental, stressed out, slightly obsessive southerner. Welcome!
