#498 Bachelorette Weekend.

As you all know by now, my nearest and dearest friend Hope is getting married next month. As maid of honor, I was thrilled to take her on a little weekend trip for her last hoorah as a single woman. Tonight we had a delicious dinner at a fun spot called Calypso Joe’s that’s down the road from my parents’ place at Orange Beach:

And then we went home to the condo where my mama had stocked the fridge and pantry for us with all kinds of wonderful goodies. Have I ever told you how much I love her?

Per Ronda’s awesome suggestion, we had a little lingerie shower when we arrived. Anna and the Starkville girls may or may not have embarrassed the bride a smidge with a naughty handbook for good girls:

After that, to be totally cliched, we went to see Bridesmaids at the late show. It was quite possibly the funniest movie I’ve ever seen:
