#721 New Orleans with the Napiers.
by Erin Napier
Jesse’s basketball team played an exhibition game at the Hornets arena today and we made a little daytrip of it along with Jim. We started with lunch at Parkway Bakery & Tavern that’s becoming increasingly famous for their amazing po’ boys. They ain’t kidding.
Then we were on to the arena to meet up with Ben’s family:
He made 2 free throws after a foul and scored several other points:
But sadly, they lost in a nailbiter. We’ll get em next year! Jared was just psyched to see the Benz emblem on the Superdome.
Then we headed to the French Quarter for beignets at Cafe Du Monde!
What a nice baby doll in the street! Ha… we had to force Jared to pretend to pick it up for this.
Definitely one of my best New Orleans experiences. There was no rain or grossness!
