#954 Panel Moulding.

A few nights ago we started the long journey to redoing the stairwell and so far we’ve made big progress! After pinning this inspiration from houzz.com, Ben bought some wood and cut it to make panel moulding and today I primed and painted. This has been the easiest project in our house renovation so far.

We also got the wallpaper and the steps’ risers below the french doors primed for paint.

Next up, we’ll paint the walls Dover White like the rest of the house, paint the handrail glossy black, rip up the rest of the carpet, refinish all the stair treads and give them a coat of polyurethane and wax,

paint the risers to match the trim, hang this lantern in the stairwell, and hang black and white family photos. That’s not that much, right?
