Gratitude This Thanksgiving
Choosing Joy. Holding Gratitude. Pressing Forward Together.
As we gather around our tables this week with some big, some small, some full of decades-old family recipes, some brand-new traditions, we can’t help but look back at this past year with full hearts.
It’s been a tough year for so many. For families. For neighbors. For small businesses everywhere. And for us here in Laurel, the fire at The Heirloom was a heartbreak we never expected. It stopped us in our tracks for a moment… but not for long. Because this community showed up with love, encouragement, prayers, and support in a way that reminded us exactly why we do what we do.

Through every high and low, one thing has become even more clear: joy isn’t something that just happens to us. It’s something we choose, again and again. And gratitude is what keeps us steady along the way.
This Thanksgiving, we’re reflecting on the countless reasons we’re grateful!

Grateful for our town.
The sidewalks of Laurel feel like home because of the people who walk them. Your kindness, your stories, your loyalty are the heartbeat of everything we create.

Grateful for the hands that build.
From the sawdust-covered craftsmen in the Scotsman shop, to our incredible team pouring candles everyday, to the team at the store fronts greeting folks with a smile, every piece we make is touched by real people who care deeply about their work.

Grateful for resilience.
The Heirloom team is still building and we're praying to come back stronger, safer, and filled with purpose. This season has reminded us that beauty can rise from ashes, and hope can carry you farther than you ever thought you could go.

Grateful for you.
Your support keeps small businesses alive. It keeps dreams alive. It keeps creativity alive. Every visit, every purchase, every encouraging word, it all matters more than you know.

As we head into the holiday season, we’re choosing joy. We’re choosing to be thankful for what we’ve walked through, what we’ve learned, and what we’re building next. We hope this week brings you rest, laughter, and moments that warm your heart long after the dishes are put away.
From our family to yours, Happy Thanksgiving!
May your home be full of joy, your table full of good food, and your heart full of gratitude.
