Nearly a Decade of Magic in Laurel: Home Town is Back for a NEW Season!

January 4th can’t come soon enough because Season 9 of Home Town is officially on its way.

It’s hard to believe we’ve been on your TVs now for nearly ten years!

What started as a tiny dream of telling the story of our little Mississippi town has become a front-row seat to hundreds of families finding their way home. We’ve watched Laurel grow and change, we’ve watched babies born and kids get taller, and we’ve watched old houses breathe again with new life. Every season feels like opening a brand-new chapter, even though the backdrop is the same quiet Southern town we fell in love with from the start.

Looking back, the biggest joy has never been the renovations themselves but the people. It’s the long porch talks, the big reveals that make even the cameramen tear up, the families who trust us with their forever. It’s the way a fresh coat of paint and some heart can turn a forgotten house into the beginning of someone’s next story.

And this year? Season 9 might just be our most meaningful yet. There are homes that surprised us, families who inspired us, and moments that reminded us why we said yes to this wild adventure in the first place. There’s still so much beauty to be found in small-town living, and we feel grateful every day to get to show that to the world.

So here’s to another season... to the sawdust, the stories, the porch swings, and the people who make Laurel feel like home.
