#1,554 Tea Time.

As is the Mississippi way, our bright, sunshiney early spring turned off suddenly cold and dark today. Sunny days will be returning more every day this week, so we didn’t mind too much. When we finished our work this evening, we took the dogs for a (brisk) walk, and as we were walking back up to the house, I couldn’t resist the front porch—even in the cold. Ben went inside to put on some Earl Gray tea and my friend Sarah in Cincinnati called on her commute home, as she sometimes does when traffic is particularly bogged down. I put her on speaker phone so Ben could participate and we had our own little tea time for a bit.

I think I’d do well in England. I could get into tea time. Would be nice to add some scones to the agenda.
