#1,988 The Laziest Day Ever.
by Erin Napier
After a 5th Sunday potluck lunch at church:
We were supposed to go to a neighborhood party in Gardiner Park… But then:
And the party was canceled. But no to worry, because Mal made her famous jambalaya and I made Rice Krispies treats for the party so we ate that for supper at 4:30 pm, then watched movies all evening WHILE IT WAS STILL DAYLIGHT OUTSIDE. I don’t remember the last time this happened.
One of the movies we watched was American Sniper, which absolutely broke my heart and made me love Bradley Cooper—mostly because I completely forgot I was watching Bradley Cooper, he was so good. Have you seen it? Best movie I’ve seen in a long time.
I hope your weekend gave you rest, too, and I hope our friends in Texas are finally seeing the sunshine.
