#2,409 Early Birding.
by Erin Napier
All of our friends and family are flabbergasted by the way we’ve been trying so hard to adjust our schedules to become early risers. We’ve been going to bed at 9:30 every night to wake by 5:30 and try to get in some exercise before we go to work. It’s been a tough leaf to turn over for us, terminal night owls with the most flexible schedules of all time to be on someone else’s clock and schedule. It’s been very hard for me to do, but I’m giving it my best shot. I’ve seen the sunrise most every morning for the last 3 months, and I realized today (the halfway point of filming season 1!) we are getting closer to crisp fall mornings with every sunrise.
It was especially evident today during a little cool front that breezed through Mississippi. How lucky are we to have a Father who gives us autumn every single year? I’m crazy to look forward to it the way I do… But it really does change my outlook on everything.
