#2,428 Aunt Charlotte.

When I was little, she gave me the movie Prancer for Christmas one year with a bottle of Holly Hobbie bubble bath. These gifts were two of my favorites that year from my sweet, soft spoken aunt who has lived in Jackson since my mama was a teenager. I rarely got to see her, mostly on holidays, but I loved her all the same. Today she very unexpectedly went to heaven, leaving behind my mama, aunt Mae Mae and aunt Phyllis, my uncle Charles, her daughter Cheryl, and many grandchildren. It’s so hard to think of death as a celebration, but that’s what this is. Her homecoming. If you are a believer, I would so appreciate your prayers of comfort for my family.

That’s my sweet aunt Charlotte on the far right. I’m going to miss her.
