#2,442 Early Surprises.
by Erin Napier
Today was the prep day before our 3rd reveal of this block tomorrow morning, and I am absolutely DOG TIRED. I couldn’t go to sleep tonight without first giving thanks for the incredibly thoughtful early birthday presents I was given today, though. One, a beautiful linen tunic handmade by Ben’s sweet mama and delivered by Ben’s daddy this morning on his way passing through town:
You’ll see real photos of this when I have on pants and dry hair sometime this fall. I just got so excited when Ben gave it to me, I had to try it on RIGHT THEN.
And then, as we were wrapping filming for the day, our showrunner, Angie, totally surprised me by giving me a gold and turquoise ring just like the one she wears because I’ve been fawning over it since we first met over a year ago. I could’ve cried over both these beautiful gifts and the women who gave them to me. I’m so thankful to have these ladies in my life.
Today was the last time I’ll ever be 30 years old again. Tomorrow, I’m 31. I don’t know how time is moving so fast, and it scares me a little bit, but every day life has gotten sweeter than the day before so I’ll just hang on and keep going.
