It was a big day full of demo at the first house of block 3, then an official HGTV photoshoot at Ben’s woodshop where I snapped a few over our awesome photographer’s shoulder. These don’t do it justice, because when I looked through his viewfinder, it looked like a movie with perfect lighting. I have so loved learning how this process happens from behind the cameras, and I especially love getting to snap a few like this:
How adorable is Babe the blue ox in lights?! Our sweet sweet neighbor, Mr. McLeod, who makes custom Christmas lights for our parks every year, made this just for Ben, Laurel’s own Paul Bunyan. It’s perfect to light up the woodshop!
And in other news, my arms may be permanently sore from my efforts at sawing off tree limbs with a 40 lb. pole saw today. I’m pretty proud of myself for managing as much as I did!
