#2,507 Walking + Saying Goodbye.
by Erin Napier
It was our first day back in the real world without cameras to capture it, and it felt so good to not put on makeup until lunch, to take my time this morning being at home. Mama stopped by the house this morning and we ended up spontaneously taking a 3 mile walk all over downtown together. It’s been a long time since she came and went for a walk with me and it felt so good to tell her every little thing that’s on my mind, and what’s happening with the Mercantile.
Which happens to be a LOT, today. Look at that progress! The carrera marble tile entry! The doors! The paint!
And then tonight… We had the wrap party. And we had to say goodbye to most of our incredible TV family until next season (fingers crossed).
Gosh I’m going to miss every one of these people so much in the coming months. God knew exactly who we needed to make the best show possible and I’m so thankful He put them in our path. I can’t wait to see where we go from here. Hopefully, all roads will lead them back to Laurel next year. What a dream.

I am a wife, a daughter, a homebody, a bubble bath lover, a book reader, a sentimental, stressed out, slightly obsessive southerner. Welcome!
