#2,514 The Swap.
by Erin Napier
With a consistent chill in the air every evening and morning, we finally got to make The Swap! I wish it looked like the 3 hours of effort it took to move our fall and winter clothes over from storage into the closet and move the spring and summer clothes from the closet to neat stacks and Rubbermaid boxes we can take to storage tomorrow, but I’m mighty proud to have this bi-annual chore checked off my list!
Tomorrow is going to be a really exciting day with a big, special project on the schedule for the Mercantile and one of our favorite magazines. Got to get some sleep!

I’m Erin Napier, co-owner of Laurel Mercantile Co. and Scotsman Co. with my husband, Ben. I’m an artist and he’s a craftsman and we help people moving to our town find and restore old houses on HGTV’s Home Town. In an effort to count my blessings, this journal has documented only the good things that happen on each and every day of my life since January 1, 2010. I am a wife, a daughter, a homebody, a bubble bath lover, a book reader, a sentimental, stressed out, slightly obsessive southerner. Welcome!
