#2,527 Traveling Anniversary.
We spent today, our 8th wedding anniversary, in the car going to meetings in Tupelo and then driving home, but we made sure to take some time to celebrate the only way we could—by eating well for lunch with Sam, Lyn and the kids at Cracker Barrel on our caravan south, then with supper at Tabella saying goodbye to the very last 2 producers from the show who have now 100% officially wrapped out all business matters of Home Town season 1. Since we celebrated all last week by getting to be in NYC, I was so happy to come home tonight and take a bubble bath, paint my nails, and watch This Is Us on the couch with the love of my life.
Oh it feels so good to be home with no trips in our future for several months.
In this weird and busy season of our life, I’m endlessly grateful for a marriage that has come easily for us. I feel like we’ve always understood each other in the most fundamental ways, which made disagreements rare and partnership in every decision easier. Being married to you feels as natural as breathing in and out, and to be loved and protected by you is the joy of my life. Thank you for showing me Christ in the way you love the people in your life, and for always leading me to do the same. Happy anniversary, Big!
