#2,592 Clean Slate Blue.

It was nearly dark outside when Ben pulled up to the shop to take me home, so I didn’t get a photo of her all cleaned up, but he detailed my car for me this afternoon and even conditioned the leather. Ole Ouida looked just a good as the day we picked her up from the body shop, and smelled like a new pair of boots.

I love this old car in much the same way that I love this old house–for the way it makes me feel. Like I’m living in one of the best design moments in modern history while I’m right in the middle of the present. It’s a disjointed feeling, and one that’s my happy place.
