#28 Good morning.
by Erin Napier
After a restless night of dreams about a crazy wedding and choking on a chalky pill (weird, I know), I woke up this morning to Ben telling me that everything about me, even my ears, were beautiful to him. He told me to try to sleep a little later and he would go buy today’s ReView (my mother is a columnist for this weekly paper) and I could read it when I woke up. At 8:30 I finally got up and took a shower, then came into the kitchen to find pancakes, sausage, eggs, fudge covered Ritz crackers from Lee’s and an ice-cold Coke sitting on our breakfast table. I love him. You just have no idea.

I’m an artist and he’s a craftsman and we help people moving to our town find and restore old houses on HGTV’s Home Town. In an effort to count my blessings, this journal has documented only the good things that happen on each and every day of my life since January 1, 2010. I am a wife, a daughter, a homebody, a bubble bath lover, a book reader, a sentimental, stressed out, slightly obsessive southerner. Welcome!
