Tonight while the youth kids were scouring the city for a photo scavenger hunt, Ben and I stayed behind at the church and hung out with Cindy Meador, arguably the kindest, most upbeat and generally fabulous little lady you are likely to meet. We talked Dreamweaver and Photoshop, the drama in our lives, and about the fact that our pleaser personalities are scarily similar. I can’t tell you how great it felt to gain her perspective on things (web design and life in general, both of which I am simply a novice at). We agreed that letting negative and toxic people disrupt your life makes little cracks in your soul that evil can slip through. It’s really time I learn to pray about it and leave it there, because God will always be able to sort through the messes when I can’t. Like I said, I’m just a novice at this crazy life.
