#533 Stand By Me.
So Ben and I are having dinner at Mi Casita tonight after a very long day of car show preparations.
As we’re eating I say to him, “You know what would be great on a night like this? If we went to Blockbuster and rented an old movie. Something like,“
and at the very same time we say:
“Stand By Me.”
You could have knocked me over with a feather. Neither of us have thought of or mentioned that movie for any reason lately (maybe ever!), and we both landed on the exact same train of thought at that moment. We do that a lot, the cliched ‘finishing each other’s sentences,’ but this was exceptional. And weird. I love him.
Too bad Blockbuster is going out of business, because (obviously) we would love to have a date night at home and see it again.
