#69 Miss Anne does it again.
by Erin Napier
A few weeks back I told you about my sweet client (more friend these days) Anne who sent me a really touching email… Well she’s outdone herself this time. I received a package this morning from New York City and inside I found an absolutely darling blouse by Steven Alan (Anne works for this oh-so-cool designer) similar to this one:
If you’ve not visited the Steven Alan website, you really should. I mean how awesome is this dress???
Anyway, there were also 2 yummy chocolate bars with well-designed wrappers, a big, fluffy cream colored fabric rose brooch, and the sweetest card:(Your Biggest Fans by Screech Owl Design)
To her it might have been just a simple gesture, but it was one of the nicest things anyone has ever done for me. Isn’t it funny how God puts people in our lives? Anne and I have never met face to face but we write every day and find new things we share in common every day (Felicity for instance). My job is so fulfilling that I would never need a lavish gift to make me feel that, but knowing it came from her heart makes me overflow with joy.
A note to Hope who keeps up with me on here: her parents are from the Philippines! Interesting, huh?
