#690 Community Thanksgiving.
by Erin Napier
Tonight was the annual community Thanksgiving service for the downtown churches and it was FUMC’s year to host. A packed house of all the downtown denominations means seeing everyone you’ve ever known in your whole life. All the church choirs have been practicing for tonight and a brass ensemble joined them for their very grand presentation. It was so gorgeous. I’ve always had a thing for choir music.
I’m very proud to report that we were the only church whose youth attended. Wootwoot!
Maybe my favorite thing was taking 56x zoom photos of our friends 100 feet away in the choir loft. They could somehow tell we were taking their pictures from the balcony with my tiny camera. How funny is that?
The music gave me chills. Oh law, you just had to hear it!
