Inn This Together: Episode 1 Recap – “Millions with an ‘S’"
Watch The Episode 1 Recap Here
It’s finally here! After years of planning, work, sweat, and yes, even tears, the season premiere of Inn This Together on HGTV has finally arrived.

Watch along as me, Jim, and Mal — along with help from our best friends — work together to bring some TV magic back to an unloved building in Laurel.

This is certainly the biggest project of our lives, and an incredible number of people have worked tirelessly to bring this building back to life and to tell the story on TV.

We are deeply grateful for our construction, design, factory, office, and production teams for being the ones behind the scenes who worked non-stop to make it all happen. We are especially thankful to HGTV for believing in this project, and to RTR Media for sticking with us through the hot summer to film and produce it.

Most of all, we are thankful for the people of Laurel. This project has meant so much to our town, and the support of this community has reminded us once again why we chose to build our lives here.

If you want to know more about what went on behind the scenes, how stressed Jim really got, the practical problems of filming on the fourth floor without AC or an elevator, and plenty of other stories from the process, be sure to catch our latest podcast: The Heirloom Podcast — Season 2, Episode 1: The Biggest Project of Our Lives. Mallorie and Emily join me and Jim and that alone makes it way better.

Thanks for caring enough to watch this story from our little town of Laurel. This project reminds me that when you are trying to build an heirloom, it’s never easy and there will always be unexpected setbacks. That doesn’t mean you should give up. It means you should try harder.
Keep building,
Josh Nowell
