A memory you didn’t know you kept, sun-warmed brick and roses that bloom like they’ve been here forever. It’s the scent of deep roots and a home away from home that greets you as you enter campus and the story begins.
Near the front entrance of The University of Southern Mississippi you can find the All-American Rose Garden. The garden was planted in 1974 and features more than thirty-five varieties of roses. Over the years the beauty of the garden has made it a favorite spot among graduates on graduation day to take photos in their regalia.
