Over the weekend we painted the arrows on all the ‘VOTE TODAY!’ signs, today we went out on foot knocking on some more doors:
Then we met Jim on his way home from a meeting with the Saints’ players in New Orleans for dinner at Cotton Blues, where my slim and trim and handsome husband took a picture with me:
We were sitting in this very same booth when they told us they were expecting back in December!
And once it was late and everyone was sleeping, we covered the neighborhood with signs to get everyone to the Ellis Center in the morning so we can elect a good mayor even if the final election with Ben on the ballot won’t be until June 4. Y’all say a prayer for all the towns having municipal runoffs tomorrow. I really hope it goes well for Laurel.
