#1,271 Farmer’s Market is Back.
It’s a good thing we went to that farming workshop a few months ago.
Because today the downtown Laurel Farmer’s Market started up and it was a HUGE hit, even in the pouring rain. I just know it’s because of the pages and pages of notes we brought back on crop rotation and the value of sterilizing your jars before canning.
We might have gone a little crazy. We came home with sweet corn, eggs, crazy crackers, from-scratch cookies, homemade bread, salsa, strawberry jam, dill pickles, sweet pickles, and kettle corn. Don’t judge.
That bread is going to make FINE toast in the morning.
