#1,289 Cool Snap.
by Erin Napier
It started out as a muggy, rainy, messy day but by the evening the rain cleared out, a misty haze settled all over the land and the temperature dropped to 75 degrees by 6 pm. I took this photo as we were leaving my parents’ house and just couldn’t get over how picturesque this completely common view was to me. I’ve seen it my whole life and have only just recently noticed how beautiful it is around my forever childhood home.

In an effort to count my blessings, this journal has documented only the good things that happen on each and every day of my life since January 1, 2010. I am a wife, a daughter, a homebody, a bubble bath lover, a book reader, a sentimental, stressed out, slightly obsessive southerner. Welcome!
