#1,562 I'm Ready.
by Erin Napier
After registering at the hospital in Jackson, I spent most of today in a hotel room drinking insane amounts of Gatorade in preparing for any kind of surgery they might need to do. Only a few more hours until we have more answers. I can’t wait! By the time most of you read this, the surgery will either be in progress or over with. I’m begging you believers to pray for Dr. Moore and Dr. Nicols, since my future is in their hands and the hands of the Maker. I’m looking forward to it, scary stuff and all. My home nurse, Big Ben, was using me to do 130 lb. curls earlier this afternoon in boredom so I feel like he can get me up, down and all around when it’s done. See y’all on the (heavily sedated and medicated) flip side.

I’m Erin Napier, co-owner of Laurel Mercantile Co. and Scotsman Co. with my husband, Ben. I’m an artist and he’s a craftsman and we help people moving to our town find and restore old houses on HGTV’s Home Town. In an effort to count my blessings, this journal has documented only the good things that happen on each and every day of my life since January 1, 2010. I am a wife, a daughter, a homebody, a bubble bath lover, a book reader, a sentimental, stressed out, slightly obsessive southerner. Welcome!
