#2,086 Labor Day.

I spent the better part of the day giving the house a good deep cleaning and sweeping away the mountains of leaves and spiderwebs that seem to constantly accumulate on the porch while Ben worked on the Tahoe’s AC. It wasn’t the most restful Labor Day, but we made up for it with a family cookout at Jim and Mal’s with Clark, Amanda and John Walker.

He got a conductor’s hat and is the happiest little boy on EARTH.

Conecuh Sausage. The only sausage worth grilling.

Later, Josh, Emily and Sam walked up and joined in with the burgers, hot dogs, chips, mac and cheese, and Zac Brown Band radio.

I can’t believe the summer has come and gone. See you next year, white pants!
