#2,190 You’ve Got Mail + Good Help.

When I got to the shop this morning, there was a package waiting for me. A surprise from Lianna, an instagram friend who is a reader here, who sent me a quote by Kathleen Kelly, my fictional soul sister from You’ve Got Mail.

It was so very thoughtful of her. I guess that means everyone’s onto my Kathleen Kelly admiration. Can I just be her when I grow up? I’ll need lots of sweaters and pencil skirts.

Soon, Ashliegh, one of our college girl friends who is home for Christmas break, arrived to help me get our new candle shipment all rolled and wrapped.

She’s a superwoman, who wrapped them all so fast she had time to help me get the day’s shipments packed up, too. Shipments like our Tew Studios big mugs and cereal mugs! AHHHH!

They’re so pretty and crisp I wanted to take them all home with me and keep them forever! I’m bad at sharing. It’s the curse of being the baby of the family.

When we got home from work, there was another mail surprise on my doorstep.

I did some new brand identity work for Joanna’s Magnolia Market, and they sent me their newest t-shirt with one of my designs printed on it! It’s so soft and comfy! I can’t overstate how generous these folks are. Really.

I’m dying to see tomorrow night’s Christmas episode of Fixer Upper where they’ll be revealing the Magnolia House bed and breakfast. You might even see the sign design I did for them if you watch close!

Then it was finally time to eat dinner at 9 pm, which was raisin bran for me and a homemade McMuffin for Ben. Lucky for us, Home Alone 2 was on, which got me missing NYC some kind of bad.
