Ben disagrees with me, but I swear I think it’s safe to pack away the winter clothes and bring out my spring wardrobe with highs in the 70s as far as the forecast can see. We took a 3 mile walk all over the neighborhood and it felt so incredible out there in the sunshine and the breeze.

Not a single cloud in the sky.

There were dozens of people in Gardiner Park, playing 4 different sports on the playing field. I love to see our favorite park getting the love it deserves. Now try to imagine this scene pre-Katrina with 50% more trees. It’s hard to remember how densely shaded and green it was.

With the brand new 7th Avenue and its fancy new bike lanes now open, folks on bicycles were all over the place!

It is February and I dared to wear shorts and expose my lily white legs. And it felt fantastic.
